About Me
Introduction
I have been delivering, organising and fundraising for workshops since 2004.
Working with grass roots organisations, brands, councils, schools, colleges and government programmes.
In this time I have engaged thousands of young people mainly in the UK and Mexico.
As a tutor/teacher at an inner city London college for over 8 years delivering programmes such as 'Personal and Social development' 'Business and Enterprise' and 'Entrepreneurial skills' I have first hand experience of the restrictions placed on education, especially in the creative arts.
Which has always formed my foundation for engaging young minds.
Having said that the skills and qualities I have learnt that help to manage a learning environment especially working with those who are deemed many of the various negative labels 'Hard to reach' 'Disengaged' 'Unruly' has been a valuable lesson. (Mainly as many of these labels are wrong!)
After year on year of having my time to deliver and teach programmes cut and cut again due to funding and resources within an FE environment I decided in 2017 enough was enough and I returned solely back to the roots I love. Teaching and nurturing the youth with no barriers!
After years of collaborations and exciting projects I have decided to share my thoughts, resources and know how with the world.
My goal is to help, support and use my skills to help others develop, fund and engage their youth.
The last 17 years have been incredible and I look forward to supporting young minds in their expansion whilst furthering strong relationships with teachers, youth workers and networks around the globe.

Workshops
My greatest love is developing workshops that engage young minds and enable them to be creative in safe spaces encouraging them to grow and develop useful lifeskills while having as much fun as possible.
Fund-raising
Over the years as Defcon Workshops and as an individual I have fundraised thousands in order to deliver workshops to marginalised young people and communities that are often overlooked and forgotten about. All monies raised have been used for educational, creative and artistic projects.

Natty has enabled our young people to create amazing music and to use lyrics as a way to express their emotions and thoughts in a safe space. He sets individual goals for each of them after an initial assesment of their skill level. He inspires them with his knowledge, energy, determination and can do attitude and is able to keep them focused. Natty has given our young people the confidence to perform and to believe in their ability to produce incredible music.

Natty is an indispensable core of our workshop team. He has a rare ability to connect with young people using music, rap, words or sheer positive energy. His passion, empathy and commitment is boundless. The expertise he brings to youth education, and the impact he has on young participants (whatever end of the spectrum they lie) is truly amazing to watch.
